Caesarean Scar Therapy

Nobody tells you, when you leave hospital after a C-section, that your scar can be touched, massaged, and improved. I'm Beth, and I know that first hand, I've had a C-section myself.

Scar therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that helps release tension around your scar, so it moves and feels better not just on the surface, but underneath too.

How can Scar Therapy help?

  • Ease that tight, pulling feeling around your scar, including any numbness or sensitivity

  • Take the pressure off your hips, back, and pelvis, which the scar can quietly affect more than people realise.

  • Help your scar feel softer and more comfortable and for some, that includes a reduction in overhang.

What to expect

Sessions are calm, relaxed, and led completely by you. It's totally normal to feel a bit nervous about having your scar touched, especially if it's still sensitive or you've not made peace with it yet, we'll go at your pace.

Treatment can start from 12 weeks after birth, once your scar's fully healed, dry, and shows no signs of infection.

I'll usually give you a little homework between sessions too. Nothing scary, just small bits that help the work carry on at home. It's not busywork, it's part of the plan, and it's often where you'll notice the biggest changes.
